The 2014-2015 year was an enormously productive one for the Religions of India Initiative. We hosted a Fulbright Scholar in Residence for the Winter quarter, in addition to organizing a number of other events.
Sikkil Gurucharan Fulbright Residency (Winter 2015)
Sikkil Gurucharan was in residency for the Winter and part of the Spring quarters in 2015. As part of his residency, he ran workshops on Carnatic music, gave public lectures, collaborated with local artists, and co-taught a course with Archana Venkatesan on Religion and the Performing Arts in India.
